Set in the beautiful surroundings of the North Cornwall coastline, near Treyarnon Bay, Trethias Farm enjoys some uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside, Trevose Head, Bodmin Moor and sometimes even St. Ives Bay on an exceptional day.
Welcoming touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, all of the touring pitches are positioned around the edge of the fields, leaving the middle open for games and cycling. The site itself is only yards from the South West Coast Path, with Padstow a day’s walk to the north, and the outstanding Bedruthan Steps to the south.
Accessed by a small private road, Trethias is just a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach, Treyarnon Bay, which is a dog friendly beach even during summer, and also lifeguard patrolled. The park provides a special dog walking field with fantastic sea views, although dogs must be on a lead within the park itself.
Trethias is ideal for families and couples, seeking a classic camping holiday, and looking to avoid the usual cramped over developed parks. For this reason, Trethias has no on-site entertainment or clubs, uses minimal lighting at night, and does not accept bookings of large groups in high season, all of which adds up to a natural, friendly feel around the park.
Trethias Farm Caravan Park has been family owned and run since the 1950s, and little has changed since its beginning, other than the installation of the type of facilities that you would expect today. The park is also an award winning conservation park, with wildlife havens and bird protection areas surrounding the camping fields.
