This is a great example of a very high spec continental 2 berth tourer, built by quality manufacturer Hymer, the same company who makes the ever popular Eriba caravans. The layout of this caravan is as any conventional British 4 berth ‘side dinette caravan’, and the door is on the nearside. The Nova range for 2008 were described by Hymer as "premium class" featuring up to date exterior design and the latest construction methods available at the time.
The 2008 Hymer Nova range was built using PUAL construction methods, which features closed pore PU foam providing pleasantly cool temperatures in summer and warmth inside the caravan in the winter. Bonding technology was used rather than screws, improving the durability of Hymer's caravans and minimising the chances of water ingress. The external skin of the caravan is made from aluminium with a stove enamel coating and the roof skin is GRP. Corner bumpers and trim are grey and the external features include alloy wheels, striking grey graphics and modern lights, ensuring that the Hymer still looks good whether being towed on the road or sited on a pitch. The caravan is built on an Al-Ko galvanised chassis, featuring an Al-Ko AKS 3000 stabilising hitch.
A multi-functional entrance door is in two parts and features an integrated coat rack and storage compartments. At the front of the Nova 570, double glazed panoramic windows ensure that the lounge area is light and airy. All of the windows in the Nova are double-glazed and feature night ventilation latches, fly screens and blinds as well as curtains which compliment the upholstery. Twin bench seats are finished in attractive upholstery and convert into a large double bed for night time. There is a storage chest between the two seats with a fold out coffee table and additional storage in the overhead lockers. There is a built in stereo and speakers in one of the overhead lockers. All of the furniture in the Hymer is glued, screwed and dowelled in the factory, ensuring that the interior of this caravan has lasted very well.
Next to the lounge is a useful TV point with the Truma Trumatic space-heater positioned just below which is dual fuel electric and gas and provides blown air heating throughout the caravan.
Moving back from the lounge is the side dinette, upholstered in the same fabric as the lounge. This makes a very handy dining or reading area by day and by night, converts into a single bed using the table as the bed base.
On the opposite side of the caravan is a very well equipped kitchen workstation with a circular stainless steel sink and mixer tap, a dual fuel hob and a domestic style oven with separate grill, ensuring that the Nova 570's kitchen will cater for most meal requirements. The large fridge works on 12v, mains electric and gas and there is a microwave oven built in at eye level.
In the rear corner of the Hymer Nova 570 SL is the spacious washroom, featuring a Thetford swivelling toilet, washbasin in curved vanity unit and a separate shower with a mixer tap shower head. There is also a wardrobe for holiday clothing and ample storage in this wash-room for all the toiletries.

The caravan will be cleaned inside and out by us, and will be serviced and damp checked by an independent approved caravan workshop, with the service report available to view, providing real peace of mind for a new owner.
In summary, this is a great example of a high spec, well-built 4 berth tourer which is easy to live with and safe to tow by most medium sized cars. The fact that it comes with many essential extras and an up-to-date service and damp check means that it will be ready to hitch up and take away on its next exciting caravan holiday.
