Description: Bailey Unicorn Madrid

This caravan is as close to new as it's possible to get on the secondhand market, having been purchased new in June 2016, stored undercover by us since purchased and having had just 10 days use!  This is a fantastic opportunity to purchase a nearly new 2016 Bailey Unicorn Madrid, 3 berth, high spec caravan with a range of extras including an Isabella Porch Awning, Powr Touch motor mover and Phantom Tracker alarm.  It has just had it's first warranty service completed by a specialist Bailey service centre and is ready to go!

The 3rd generation Bailey Unicorn range for 2016 combined 65 years of experience innovation, with a reconfigured interior design to maximise interior living space, whilst maintaining accessible caravan weight.  Externally and internally, the Unicorn Madrid is an eye-catching caravan with a very impressive equipment specification.

Built on a one-piece galvanised steel chassis, the Bailey Alu-Tech construction is a revolutionary design featuring structural interlocking aluminium extrusion framework with no external fixing points and concealed awning channels on both sides. The 5 part exterior panel assembly, built using a timber-free composite plastic skeleton, with high density insulation and GRP inner wall and impact resistant GRP outer skin, is fully bonded, with no screws.

From a towing perspective, the Unicorn Madrid features the latest safety technology including AL-KO ATC Trailer Control, AL-KO AKS stabilising hitch and AL-KO Octagon Shock absorbers.  The caravan is light enough to be towed easily by a large family car.

The new 'Polar White' bodyshell features atrractive metallic red and grey graphics, set off by smart 14" silver alloy wheels with WSL anti-tamper bolts.  Externally, the Unicorn Madrid appears aerodynamic and eye-catching, resulting in a caravan which looks impressive when out on the road being towed, or when sited on a pitch.  The 2 section Hartel door features a window, blind and fly-screen and provides easy access to the interior.

At the front of the caravan, the huge curved front window and integrated skylight are framed by two smaller side windows on either side.  Made from toughened polyplastic and featuring cassette blinds and flyscreens, the double-glazed windows ensure that the lounge is incredibly bright and airy by day.  At night, a mixture of LED task and mood lighting transforms the living area into a cozy and private living space.

Storage is provided by the spacious Italian-design, split-level overhead lockers, finished, like the furniture throughout the Unicorn Madrid, in a modern 'Mendip Ash' and featuring soft close hinges and chrome hardware, giving the furniture a real touch of class.  A recessed front chest has 2 soft-close drawers and a handy slide out coffee table.  The floor has a new durable textured finish vinyl and the deep pile 55oz loose-fit drop in carpets feel plush and warm under foot.

In the Unicorn Madrid, 2 large seats provide comfortable living and dining space, and a large folding table (stored in a separate locker) is supplied for mealtimes.  The seating is upholstered in attractive Bailey 'Kensington' fabric and the soft furnishings are complemented by co-ordinated curtains, four shaped armrests and two large and small scatter cushions.  The seats can be used as single beds or made into a large double using the 'easy-glide' slat system.

Moving back through the Unicorn Madrid, the kitchen is especially well appointed and features new 'Italian Stone' worktop laminate with additional folding worktop extension.  Bailey described the kitchens in the Unicorn range as 'chef friendly' and equipment in the kitchen includes a new exclusive Dometic 133 litre slimline tower refridgerator, Thetford Caprice combined domestic-style oven and grill and Thetford dual fuel hob with electric hotplate and 3 gas burners.  A stainless steel 800w microwave ensures that the kitchen can cater for everything from a simple breakfast to a full roast dinner. A stainless steel circular sink and chrome mixer tap, washing up bowl, drainer and chopping board completes the kitchen equipment.  Storage is provided by cupboards finished in 'Mendip Ash' and there are plenty of cleverly-designed spaces to stow plates, cups, utensils and cutlery.

Next to the kitchen is a spacious wardrobe with ample hanging space for clothes and additional storage, again finished in 'Mendip Ash'.  This cupboard also contains the folding dining table for the lounge.

Opposite the kitchen is a TV point with 12v, 230v and aerial sockets, and next to this is the side dinette, featuring 2 seats, upholstered in the same fabric as the lounge, with a table in the middle.  By day, this provides additional living and dining space and by night, the dinette converts into a single bed.

At the rear of the Unicorn Madrid, a domestic-style door leads to a spacious and fully-equipped washroom, featuring a separate rectangular shower cubicle with inboard shower, integral lighting and 'Ecocamel' power head.  There is also a Thetford c-250 swivelling toilet with electric flush, a wash-basin with chrome mixer tap, vanity unit and an extendable shaving mirror.  The washroom has a panel radiator and additional storage lockers finsihed again in 'Mendip Ash'.

The Alde Hydronic Compact 3020 programmable radiator heaing and hot water system, with Alde touch screen control panel, gives complete control to the owner and ensures that occupants will never be cold, with the ability to set the heating to come on using a daily/hourly timer to ensure you can wake up to a warm caravan or return to a cozy living space at the end of a long day.

Other equipment in the Unicorn Madrid includes a Truma 100 watt solar panel mounted on the roof, allowing you to holiday where and when you want, a newly designed 230v RCD/MCD power supply system with 5 mains sockets, and a new 12v internal lighting system including LED downlighters and directional spotlights.   The leisure battery is now in a centrally located underfloor locker and there is a centrally located user-friendly control panel, which was a new improvement for 2016 models.

In terms of security, the Unicorn Madrid has a Tracker Retrieve security system, is fully CRIS registered and is ready for AL-KO secure wheel locks.

This almost new caravan is unmarked externally or internally and the paintwork has been treated with 'GardX' paintwork protection at the dealership.

The Unicorn Madrid comes with an array of extras including dealer fitted Powr Touch motor movers, making siting on tricky driveways or pitches an absolute breeze.  It also comes with a top of the range Isabella Magnum porch awning with carbon poles, and breathable ground sheet, as well as an Aquaroll, Wastemaster, hook-up cable and more.

In summary, if you are looking for a nearly new, spacious, luxuriously appointed caravan, at an amaxing price, this is Bailey Unicorn Madrid is the one for you.   The Madrid has just flown through its first warranty service, which was completed by a main dealer/Bailey specialist   this caravan is less than 12 months old and having had just 10 days use in that time, we're confident you won't find a better quality caravan.  The extras such as the motor mover, awning and all the accessories included in the sale, have to make this 2016 Bailey Unicorn Madrid simply unbeatable value for money.
