We are pleased to offer this 2012 Swift Conqueror 645 for sale, which has had one previous owner from new, and comes with full service and habitation history, all the orginal manuals and a number of essential extras including a Kampa Rally Air Pro 390 inflatable awning as well as a Powrtouch 4 wheel remote motor mover. This very desirable and spacious caravan boasts a beautiful interior, with 'nubuck' textured seats, a very high specification of internal equipment and the ultimate in luxury: a transverse fixed island bed, without compromising on the space eslewhere in the caravan.
Swfit's 2012 flagship Conqueror range boasted a very impressive combination of comfort, practicality and design innovation with new levels of both exterior and interior refinement. Previously, having a fixed bed meant compromising on internal living space...or settling for a small wetroom, but not so with this clever layout.
The Conqueror is built on a galvanised steel Euro axle chassis, featuring the latest equipment including shock absorbers, an AL-KO stabilising hitch, AL-KO overrun device with 2-way assisted handbrake, AL-KO Secure Wheel Locks and the pinnacle of towing safety, the AL-KO ATC trailer control system as standard.
Externally, the caravan is thoroughly modern-looking with a sleek profile, 'Storm' alloy wheels and an eye-catching front sunroof and Swift-badged rain deflector which curves with the roof line. The one-piece marine grade aluminium sidewalls are in an attractive gunmetal grey, and the rear panel is imposing with it's modern rear light clusters. All this results in a caravan with a 'space-age' exterior which is striking, whether on the road or pitched on site. The Conqueror is thermally insulated to Grade 3 classification: this is a caravan which can be used all year round, in complete comfort. There is a larger than usual flush fitted entrance door with high-security lock leading to the interior.
Inside the Conqueror, at the front, the combination of the three panoramic double glazed windows, curved front sunroof and large Heki deluxe tilting roof window give a great view out and ensure that the lounge area feels wonderfully light and airy during the day, but the concertina black out blinds provide complete privacy at night. The seating is the familiar twin bench seat layout, which converts into a double bed using the pull out slats, located underneath the storage chest of drawers which has an integrated sliding coffee table. A separate large dining table provides dining with full-sized place settings for four people. The seats are of spaceframe design which lift up on gas struts to provide useful storage and there are a large number of curved overhead lockers with positive catches which provide ample storage in the living area. One of the lockers houses the eye level digital power supply and management controls as well as a radio/cd with auxilliary input. The aircraft-style lockers, chest and other furniture units in the Conqueror are finished in an attractive 'Mali Acacia' textured woodgrain which offers rich colouring and a feeling of real quality to the fittings. Directional LED spotlights in the corners of the lounge mean are smart and bright enough to read by. Subtle ambient mood lighting adds a little glamour in the evening and the caravan manages to feel both cozy but bright with the lighting on.
With it's neutral tones, the 'Impala' stain resistant, easy clean nubuck textured fabric is both attractive and hardwearing and is complemented by matching bolster cushions, curtains, scatter cushions and removable plush carpets which cover the scratch resistant flooring.
Moing back through the caravan, there is a TV station with 230v, 12v and aerial sockets, with a storage locker below. TV reception is provided by a Status 530 directional Digital TV aerial and booster.
Opposite the TV station, the kitchen is very well appointed, featuring a granite effect kitchen sink with integrated drainer, removable extension drainer and chrome finished brass tap. Every possible catering requirement is met through the provision of a dual-fuel hob with 800w electric hotplate and 3 burners with electronic ignition and a domestic-style thermostatically-controlled oven and spearate grill. Finally, there is a built-in microwave with easy access controls. The 3 way fridge freezer is one of the biggest in the range, with a generously sized freezer compartment, digital controls and an attractive brushed aluminium door. There are two cupboards under the sink, a drawer and two roof-level lockers, which are pretty generous on their own. Once you add the cupboard over the top of the huge fridge-freezer, a drawer opposite and a small sideboard area, it’s obvious that you won’t struggle to keep your utensils and groceries tidily hidden from view.
Further aft in the caravan is the highlight of this layout, the transverse mounted fixed island bed, on a lightweight space frame, which lifts up on gas struts to provide access to the large storage area underneath, and is fitted with 'Ultra comfort' luxury deep sprung bed mattress. The bed slides backwards by a few inches during the day to make access to the washroom easier. The bedroom can be separated from the rest pf the caravan by a privacy screen and there are overhead lockers and wardrobes either side of the bed, each with drawers underneath, meaning the storage is flexible as well as large. A nice touch is the cushioned headboard which is upholstered in the same fabric as found in the living area. There is a large Heki rooflight in the bedroom ceiling, providing the ability to sleep under the stars if desired!
The end-washroom in the 645 has a sliding door, which makes access easier. Once inside, the Thetford C-250 toilet is in the offside corner, with the wash-basin with chrome finish tap in the centre of the back wall and the fully lined showercubicle occupying the nearside corner. The space in the washroom is well utilised and storage is excellent. There is a cupboard under the sink, another next to the shower and a double locker next to the sink. Shelves above the toilet complete the rosy storage picture and the fittings are all finsihed in the same "Mali Acacia wood effect'.
Other equipment of note found in the Conqueror 645 includes a user friendly 12v control panel, 6 x 230v sockets to cater to modern needs, low energy lighting throughout, with ambient over-locker lights and LED task lights in the living area and bedroom.
Heating is provided by the Alde radiator central heating and water heating system which features daily programming and very effectively circulates warm air throughout the caravan, including the washroom, and under the seats and bed. The water system has an 30-litre inboard tank, but there is a separate water system hook-up if you’d like to use an external water container as well. Switching between the two is done from inside the caravan in the offside locker. There is also a passive infra-red alarm system with tilt sensor and key-fob operation.
In summary, this fantastic twin axle 4 berth Swift Conqueror 645 ticks every possible box including a fixed island bed and large washroom, without compromising on living space, which is no mean feat. Although a large caravan, the weight will not trouble most suitable tow cars and it would be perfect for seasonal pitching on your favourite Cornish touring park. in exceptional condition inside and out, and a credit to its current owner, the Conqueror will be valeted inside and out, and fully serviced and damp-checked prior to sale, providing real peace of mind for its new owner. It even comes with a large number of essential extras including an inflatable awning, with an inner bedroom liner (still boxed), making this caravan an unbeatable secondhand choice, in terms of value and luxury!
