Eriba caravans have been around for over 50 years, during which time their steel frame construction, aerodynamic shape and ‘pop-up’ elevating roofs basically haven’t changed, which is proof that a combination of great design work and engineering can withstand the test of time. Holding their price in the secondhand caravan market due to their ‘classic’ status, durability and desirability, Eribas
Eriba caravans are instantly recognisable and always create interest from passers-by. On the outside, the Eribas' bow-shaped front end with its two opening windows, its rounded corners, and low height have helped to give it a huge following but the beauty of these caravans are not just in their looks. These amazing and popular little caravans are equally as popular for their exceptional build quality, clever engineering and surprisingly spacious feel. When you enter an Eriba, ‘raising the roof’ takes on a new meaning - the elevating roof takes only seconds and transforms the feeling of space inside the caravan, providing full standing height. Their low height means they can be kept off the driveway and tucked up in a standard domestic garage.
Utilising an entirely different caravan construction, the Eriba is built around an aircraft-like steel frame, with aluminium panels and steel banding to which the interior units are fixed. This results in a high-quality, well-engineered, well-insulated caravan which is attractive, eye-catching and built to last. This very well-presented, 2003 Eriba Touring Triton 420 GT has been recently serviced and damp-checked and has all its original manuals and instruction booklets.
Inside the Eriba, a spacious seating area comprising two long bench seats is upholstered in an attractive sage green/cream striped pattern and has storage underneath. The bench seats pull out on metal legs to form a large, stable and comfortable double bed with sprung mattresses. Over the seating area are well-finished aircraft-style overhead lockers providing ample storage with task lights in the corners. The windows all incorporate blinds, flyscreens and there are matching curtains in the front seating area. At the other end of the caravan, there is a
Included in the sale is everything to get you started for a caravanning holiday including a Milenco wheel clamp, Al-Ko hitch-lock, water and waste carriers, fire blanket, 25m hook up cable, unused Fiamma levelling ramps, and towing mirrors. There is also the option of an expensive full Walker awning, hardly used, which can be included in the sale for an additional £350.
In summary, this is a fine example of the popular Eriba Triton Touring 420 GT. Retro? Funky? Fun? It’s definitely all three but it’s also the perfect choice for a couple wanting a caravan which is different and easy to live with, but with a classic design and superb engineering, ensuring a level of comfort and practicality not found in other caravans of this size. Cleaned inside and out by us and independently serviced and damp-checked by an approved workshop for peace of mind, this little Eriba just needs a new owner to hitch up and take it away for its next exciting holiday.
